Soundworks founder David Stenhouse is a multi-award-winning audio producer who has made thousands of programmes for BBC Radio 4, Radio 3, the World Service and Radio Scotland.
At the BBC he produced features, science and technology, arts, business and politics programmes. He conceived and delivered major multi-partner projects including the award winning youth democracy and engagement "Generations" projects and Enlightenment After Dark with the University of Edinburgh.
He worked in the US as Senior Producer in the BBC's Washington DC bureau and at the University of Virginia as Executive Editor of the American History Podcast Backstory. He served as the first CEO of journalism diversity charity the John Schofield Trust and as Visiting Professor of Journalism at the University of Strathclyde.
